Peptide therapy (clinic-administered)
"Peptide therapy" is the fastest-growing, least-regulated add-on sold to UK men alongside TRT. This page is deliberately cautious — read the full UK peptide guide for the legal position.
What's marketed
BPC-157 and TB-500 ("repair"), CJC-1295/ipamorelin/sermorelin (growth-hormone secretagogues), GHK-Cu and long-tail "blends". Claims concentrate on recovery, sleep, injury healing, body composition.
The reality
- Most marketed peptides are not UK-licensed medicines. Injectable use means either a doctor prescribing from licensed compounding, or injecting an unverified "research chemical" — self-experimentation.
- Evidence in healthy men is thin; animal-study extrapolation dominates the marketing.
- Costs run £200–£800/month per compound where clinics offer them — a second TRT-sized bill.
- GH secretagogues require IGF-1 monitoring — over-stimulated GH has metabolic and cancer-risk implications.
Our stance (binding on this directory)
We list clinics prescribing peptides under medical supervision with published sourcing, and we never list retail research-chemical vendors. UK SERPs for "bpc-157 uk" run 6/9 grey vendors — that is the market's central trust test, and this directory's answer is clinics-only, always.
